Student pharmacists at the Touro College of Pharmacy in New York City recently participated in "Operation Immunization," organized by the college's chapter of APhA–ASP. At the event, one of four held in support of Flu Awareness Month and American Pharmacists Month at the school, student pharmacists screened older adults in East Harlem to ensure they could receive vaccines and then registered pharmacists administered the shots.
